How renting a friend in Thailand works
You sign in with Google or LINE, pick a friend, and send a request with the date, start time, length and plan. Your credits are held while we check with your friend. Once they confirm, the credits are used and you get the meeting details. If it doesn't go ahead, your credits come straight back.
Five steps, start to finish
Sign in and tell us who you are
Sign in with Google or LINE, then add your name, phone number and race. We check every account by hand and email you when you're in.
Pick a friend
Filter by city, language and what you want to do. Every profile shows the friend's rate and minimum hours.
Send your request
Choose a date, a start time, how many hours and where to meet, and add a note about your plan. The credits for the booking are held, not spent.
We confirm with your friend
We check with your friend ourselves and let you know as soon as they've confirmed. Your booking changes from Requested to Confirmed.
Meet up and have fun
You get the meeting details by email and in your bookings. Afterwards, you can leave a review.
Is renting a friend legit?
It depends on who runs it, so here's how we do it. Nobody gets listed just by signing up: we read every application and check each friend's ID ourselves. Everything is platonic, and anyone who asks for more is removed. First meet-ups start somewhere public, like a cafe, a mall or a station exit. You pay by card through Stripe, and the credits for a booking are held, not spent, until your friend confirms. If they can't make it, the credits go straight back to your wallet.
