Beach days

Jomtien is long and easy-going, Wong Amat up in Naklua is quieter, and Pattaya Beach sits in the middle of everything. Rent two deck chairs, flag down the som tam seller, and stay until the sun goes.

Koh Larn by boat

The ferry from Bali Hai pier takes about 45 minutes, a speedboat about 15. Tawaen and Samae are the beaches people go for. Hire a scooter on the island, do both, and catch the last boat back.
